![]() My final verdict – The book is a great stand alone, and one that would stick in your head. While in the story, he as a child, is oblivious to his close encounters, as an adult, he realizes how foolish he was. I’ll tell you a secret, in the story, the main character was stalked as a child, all the way through to his teenage years. In retrospect, the story was quite short, but terribly chill inducing. I literally read it in class and in the car. The book was beautifully written, and I could not put it down. Luckily for all you cheap people who don’t want to waste money on a paperback, the story is still available on reddit. After some thorough researching, I found out that the writer is actually nosleep user 1000vultures, whose writing persuaded many people to aid him in publishing his book on . The story is written in little snippets of his memory, and step-by-step his chilling childhood is exposed.Īs I read the first chapter, I slowly came to realize that I had read it before, a story that I had found on /r/nosleep, a place for stories that, well, don’t make you sleep. The story revolves around the main character, presumably Dathan, and his mysterious childhood that he decides to investigate.
